Position Overview
Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the Standard Missile (SM-6) Production Growth directorate.
Key Responsibilities
Lead engineering scope execution across multiple production-related contractual activities to meet schedule and cost constraints to support production capacity growth goals for the next 5 years.
Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to proactively identify, evaluate, track and prioritize actions that keep the different activities within the portfolio aligned with the 5‑year production growth strategy.
Work with multiple groups to align requirements, statements of work and verification plan to support the production growth strategy.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Firmware Engineers, Test Equipment and Production Test Engineers.
Define resource requirements and ensure adherence to program milestones.
Oversee the design, development and systems integration activities within production facilities to support transition to production (TTP).
Manage risk identification, mitigation strategies and resolution of technical challenges impacting the directorate’s contractual and capital‑funded activities.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative and high‑performing team environment.
Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, communicating effort status, risks and opportunities effectively.
Support proposal development and planning activities for future projects and initiatives related to the production value stream.
Attend Change Control Boards (CCBs) and support the approval of product and process changes.
Qualifications – Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification.
Supplier management experience.
Experience with Windows and Microsoft products.
Experience working with multi‑disciplinary groups for complete system delivery.
System integration experience to include hardware, software and/or firmware.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing complex projects.
Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance is required before the start date.
U.S. citizenship required.
Qualifications – Preferred
Experience with hardware design and development.
Experience with Test Equipment design and development.
Knowledge of equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation and electronics maintenance.
Experience guiding teams through troubleshooting processes.
Familiarity with model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) and Doors or Agile development methodologies.
