$75,000-$180,000/yr
Job type:
Full Time

What We're Hiring
The Product Manager, Agentic Workflow & AI Assistant owns the strategy for how AI agents orchestrate multi‑step work within WPP Open. This spans the Canvas (visual workflow builder), agent orchestration patterns, and the marketing‑specific AI assistant experience.

Role Overview
This role turns simple AI agents into collaborative teams that drive complex marketing workflows, providing the highest‑value capability in the WPP Open platform.

Responsibilities

Own the strategy for Canvas – the visual workflow builder enabling users to orchestrate multi‑agent processes.

Define workflow patterns: sequential, parallel, conditional, human‑in‑the‑loop, and autonomous execution modes.

Determine how workflows connect to other platform capabilities such as creative tools, media activation, and data sources.

Ensure workflows are observable, debuggable, and auditable to meet enterprise‑grade reliability.

Own the marketing‑specific assistant experience within WPP Open, distinct from enterprise tools like Microsoft Copilot.

Define what a "marketing assistant" means, including answering questions, accessing client/campaign data, and triggering agentic workflows.

Ensure the assistant experience is contextual – aware of the user’s workspace, client, and current task.

Design the boundary and handoff between the Open assistant and Copilot so users are never confused about where to go.

Coordinate with pillar leads (Creative, Media, Insights) to provide a shared agentic layer and define standards for agent plug‑in and workflow orchestration.

Ensure the workflow engine is extensible, allowing other teams to build on it without custom development.

Qualifications

Product manager experience in workflow automation, orchestration, or process‑builder products (e.g., Zapier, n8n, Temporal, enterprise workflow tools).

Comfortable with multi‑agent architectures: chaining, parallelism, and orchestration concepts.

Experience in conversational AI or assistant products and understanding of the UX of human‑AI collaboration.

Strong systems thinker capable of designing for both simple (2‑step) and complex (multi‑agent, multi‑tool) workflows.

Clear understanding of the boundary between the WPP Open "marketing assistant" and enterprise assistants like Microsoft Copilot, able to articulate and maintain this distinction.

Benefits

Work with passionate, inspired people in a culture that encourages extraordinary work.

Opportunity to influence and complete projects at an unparalleled scale in the industry.

Challenging and stimulating work, joining a group of creative problem solvers.

Pay Range
$75,000 – $180,000 USD

Work Environment
Hybrid approach: teams in the office about four days a week. Accommodations and flexibility can be discussed with the hiring team during the interview process.
