Pratt & Whitney Oklahoma City Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) Production Engineer (PE) will provide manufacturing process engineering work instructions and technical guidance to facilitate disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas‑turbine engines at the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in support of production delivery schedules.
Responsibilities

Read and provide interpretation of technical data as necessary to support production.
Participate in teams reviewing and investigating process breakdowns; perform root‑cause analysis and corrective action on parts and processes that are not in control.
Provide timely workscope definitions for engine and/or module repair that are comprehensive, clear, concise, cost effective, and meet customer‑defined requirements.
Approve standard work control documents used for maintaining engine/module hardware.
Provide disposition to work control document changes using standard work processes and approved technical references for released work control documents.
Provide technical assistance when verification of proper configuration of engine/module hardware is needed.
Aid in training mechanics on new technical data that has become available.
Utilize robust standard work and desktop procedures for HMC PE processes.
Perform any other related functions or support other MRO production lines as required by management to ensure the success of the enterprise.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or a Master’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work the 1st shift (0700‑1600) and extra time as necessary; may be called in off‑hours to answer job‑related questions.
Commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ability to work in cross‑functional teams on a wide variety of tasks with limited supervision.
U.S. citizenship.
Ability to write concise, easy‑to‑understand technical work instructions.
Desired Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college/university.
Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP.
Operational experience in an MRO engine facility.
Process or manufacturing experience on gas‑turbine engines.
Knowledge and experience using precision measuring instruments.
Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Compensation

Base salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
