Video editors apply their hands-on editing skills with tools such as OpenShot and Shotcut to help train and evaluate AI systems that learn real-world video production and related professional tasks. You will contribute domain expertise to year-round AI research projects, with new project opportunities opening periodically.
Key Responsibilities- Use your video editing experience to create, review, and manipulate media that informs AI model evaluation.
- Develop domain-specific prompts and test scenarios tailored to video editing workflows.
- Evaluate LLM and AI responses for accuracy, relevance, and alignment with professional practices.
- Work asynchronously with research teams to provide expert feedback and guidance on tasks within your domain.
- Perform additional editing or tooling tasks as projects require, using OpenShot, Shotcut, or similar tools.
- At least 3+ years of professional experience using one or more of the following tools: OpenShot, Shotcut, or other related video editing tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate asynchronously with remote teams.
- Employment type: Part-time.
- Remote and asynchronous, work from anywhere with internet access.

- Placement into specific projects depends on project availability.
- Projects run year-round, with opportunities becoming available periodically across different areas of expertise.
- Up to $125/hr (depending on the project)
