Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise work teams and individuals in the areas of responsibilities of manufacturing to meet customer quality and on-time delivery needs.
Supervise work teams and individuals in the areas of responsibilities of manufacturing to comply with company policies.
Analyze work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needs.
Schedule and/or approve overtime and vacations.
Manage teams by establishing monthly and quarterly performance goals.
Assist in setting and achieving productivity and quality targets for the various teams.
Coach team or manufacturing personnel in their continuous improvement efforts.
Interface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
Inspect and measure parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
Direct workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products which fail to meet standards.
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
Maintain time and production records.
Develop capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times.
Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials.
Review daily production reports and forms.
Attend Daily Manufacturing Review Meetings.
Support Manufacturing Manager in meeting department goals and objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Computer Skills – Knowledge of manufacturing software; spreadsheet software and word processing software.
Basic Qualifications
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two‐year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
