The role focuses on strategic sales leadership for Specialty Brands in Gastroenterology and Urology across Poland.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the sales team to effectively execute sales strategies across Poland and achieve defined sales targets.
Provide coaching, training, and development to direct reports while managing area budgets and executing business plans.
Coordinate and deliver all sales activities, promotional campaigns, and projects in line with the approved plans and within allocated budgets, in close collaboration with the team and line manager.
Continuously assess and enhance the performance of individual Medical Representatives by setting clear objectives and providing ongoing coaching and on‑the‑job training.
Prepare annual performance development plans for each team member, establishing goals and measurable outcomes aligned with business priorities.
Analyze product and territorial sales results, identifying key drivers and improvement areas.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing Department and provide recommendations to the Business Unit Manager.
Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to refine marketing strategies and ensure their effective execution in the field.
Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key clients to support and enhance the position of Ferring products.
Review monthly sales results for each team member, ensuring alignment with overall objectives and implementing action plans where needed.
Maintain accurate records and keep the sales team informed about their performance on a continuous basis.
Represent the company and actively support sales and marketing initiatives during local and national conferences, congresses, and scientific events.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in sales management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector (minimum 3 years).
Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
Capability to design and execute effective sales strategies that support the achievement of business objectives.
Experience in managing sales teams and collaborating with key clients, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), with a focus on building long‑term relationships.
Strong leadership and people‑development skills, including the ability to motivate, coach, manage personal energy, self‑development, and support others in a professional environment and guide teams toward high performance.
Analytical mindset and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret market data, prepare reports, recognize trends, identify growth opportunities and translate them into strategic and practical business actions.
High level of independence, strong drive for results, initiative, creativity, and pragmatic problem‑solving; hands‑on experience in forecasting, budgeting, and preparing comprehensive sales plans.
Adaptability and resilience – ability to be effective in a changing business environment and under time pressure.
Willingness to travel frequently across Poland, including participation in regional and national conferences (also during weekends).
Very good communication skills in English.
