Creative Video Strategist
Location: Hybrid (Burbank/North Hollywood, CA)

Responsibilities

Write and direct high‑performing paid social video ads using a data‑driven, test‑and‑learn approach.

Develop fresh, innovative concepts and scripts for ads.

Direct actors or celebrity brand partners to produce authentic, persuasive performances and elicit compelling soundbites.

Collaborate with videographers to plan and capture video assets, including identifying required cover shots, locations, and b‑roll.

Lead on‑set production alongside Production Supervisor, crew, and camera team.

Work with editors from pre‑production to delivery, providing feedback on edits and helping design graphics and on‑screen text.

Analyze performance data and use insights to make incremental video optimizations that scale.

Leverage AI tools for ideation, scripting, editing support, and performance analysis to accelerate creative production, generate new ad concepts, and enhance testing velocity.

Qualifications

3‑5+ years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or direct response advertising.

Experience writing and directing in fast‑paced, digital‑first environments (UGC, branded content, social, or creator economy).

Exceptional concepting and storytelling skills.

Mastery of on‑set creative leadership and ability to direct celebrity partners and actors.

Strategic thinking for marketing pet‑care products in fresh, creative ways.

Strong understanding of direct response marketing.

Self‑starter who works independently and collaborates well with diverse teams.

Adaptability to a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.

Availability to travel to locations for filming and interviews.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Marketing, Human Studies, or related fields.

Experience applying AI tools to paid social ad creative (concepting, scripting, iteration) is a strong plus.
