6AM City is hiring: Sr User Experience Designer in California

Responsibilities
Leverage both user research and product insight to make design and product decisions across a complex system that balances user priorities, efficiency needs, and our driving software’s capabilities.

Own features and experiments end-to-end. Identify and address user and company needs. Flesh out ideas and concepts, create robust product design and flows that stand up to rigorous testing and feedback.

Define success metrics and help to drive feature development and use feedback to improve or pivot designs in close collaboration with users, engineers, and other cross‑functional teams.

Communicate visions and strategies broadly throughout the organization. Advocate for goals and UX problem resolution between teams. Eliminating surprises and finding creative ways to make the “whole greater than the sum of its parts” user experience.

Experience & Skills Required

5+ years of User Experience Design in software products.

Proficient with industry‑standard design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch).

Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills, especially in a cross‑functional and global role and experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Self‑sufficient, able to manage workload to meet project deadlines. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and to make trade‑offs when needed to optimize outcomes when conditions change.

Preferred

Experience with Enterprise B2B products.
