WebMethods Developer

Job Description
We are seeking a WebMethods Developer with strong experience in enterprise integration to design, develop, and maintain scalable integration solutions. The candidate will primarily work on the Software AG WebMethods platform to enable seamless communication between systems and will also develop Spring Boot microservices for modern integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using WebMethods (Integration Server, Designer, Broker/UM)

Develop and maintain REST and SOAP web services and APIs

Integrate enterprise applications and third‑party systems using WebMethods

Manage and monitor integration workflows to ensure high availability and reliability

Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of integration services

Implement best practices for API security, scalability, and governance

Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Maintain proper documentation for integration flows, APIs, and processes

Support deployment activities and ensure smooth releases across environments

Develop microservices using Spring Boot for lightweight integrations

Build and expose RESTful APIs using Spring Boot frameworks

Collaborate in modernizing legacy integrations using microservices architecture

Assist in integrating Spring Boot services with the WebMethods platform

Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of Spring Boot applications

Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years of experience in WebMethods integration, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise integration patterns

Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and API management

Experience with messaging technologies such as JMS and Unified Messaging

Knowledge of performance tuning and monitoring of integration services

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Bachelor of Computer Science (or equivalent)

Salary Range: $110,000 – $125,000 per year
