Technical Designer- Apparel

Join a women's fashion industry leader in the heart of Manhattan, where innovation meets style. We are seeking a skilled professional to guide the development process from initial concept to the final fit, ensuring our garments meet the highest standards of quality and design.

Analyze and evaluate garments to develop accurate fit specifications.

Ensure products are developed in line with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications.

Develop technical specifications and effectively communicate fit requirements to vendors and factories for approvals and necessary corrections.

Collaborate with factories to make adjustments, ensuring design integrity of approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted pricing.

Report to the Technical Services Manager and oversee Assistant or Associate Technical Designers.

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent experience.

This is a senior-level position requiring 7 years of experience in technical design, specifically with intimates and apparel. Be part of a dynamic team in Manhattan, where your expertise will shape the future of fashion.
