Job Posting Title : Operation Manager

Position Summary : Under the direction of the General Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for day‑to‑day site operations, including supervision of warehousing, receiving and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. The role includes planning inbound and outbound volume, customer communications, space utilization and equipment management. People‑management responsibilities include hiring, training, labor planning, performance appraisals and issue resolution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop systems and procedures for safe and profitable operations, equipment and product management.
Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals and comply with client SLAs.
Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and cost‑savings measures.
Meet client KPI requirements and comply with quality system standards.
Implement fair and motivating supervision practices and discipline team members when necessary.
Collaborate with Human Resources to create hiring, training and development programs.
Leverage team strengths to deliver results efficiently.
Keep senior management and client representatives informed of critical operational issues.
Plan daily work schedules based on work orders, arrival notices and customer instructions, and assign duties appropriately.
Assess volume demands to reorganize warehouse space and adjust supplies, equipment or staffing as needed.
Ensure effective training delivery and adherence to SOPs.
Support leadership in evaluating new‑hire performance and cultural fit.
Maintain high team motivation and focus on customer satisfaction.
Provide growth and development opportunities for team members.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
Conduct routine staff meetings to review daily and weekly activities.
Management Information Systems
Ensure all team members are trained in required information systems, including WMS.
Oversee procurement of computer software and hardware in line with corporate IT policies.
Stay informed about hardware and software changes and maintain proficiency in client systems.
Customer Management
Maintain high‑level customer service standards across all functions.
Provide operational and administrative support to client accounts.
Respond to customer requests promptly and coordinate supplier/customer site visits.
Attend or lead meetings with key customers to discuss operational issues.
Promote positive client relationships through excellent service.
Budgeting and Financials
Support development of the annual operating budget.
Manage controls to ensure service levels and performance goals meet cost, revenue and profit targets.
Assist with pricing and budgeting activities to comply with contract guidelines.
Equipment and Facilities
Maintain sanitation, security, housekeeping, safety and equipment standards, including material handling equipment.
Ensure team members are trained on all MHE.
Recommend new technologies when applicable.
Safety
Achieve injury frequency and safety metrics through proactive safety culture.
Audit warehouse compliance with safety, security and quality principles.
Ensure all statutory health and safety requirements are met.
Other Duties
Work overtime as business demands, whether mandatory or voluntary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage warehouse operations supervisors and support staff.
Compensation : Expected base pay range is $110,000.00 – $115,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, education, certifications and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
