Production Technician

Responsibilities

Check and adhere to the production work schedule for job assignments and reporting times.

Operate facility metal detectors and maintain certification.

Perform start‑up, shut‑down sanitation and limited preventative maintenance on machinery.

Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety rules.

Maintain production schedules, running order, and formulas.

Scale and stage ingredients according to standards.

Load all product into proper containers.

Perform quality control inspections and monitor for acceptable governmental and company standards.

Coordinate scheduled breaks for Production Technicians as needed.

Act as a member of a highly functioning team.

Perform other duties as directed by supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

Two (2) or more years of related experience.

Essential Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of a technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair), military training, or at least 45 college credit hours may be substituted for technical training.

Familiarity with the AIB “Science of Baking” course is an advantage.

Salary
Salary Range: $41,674 – $46,061 annually (or $20.46 per hour). The compensation reflects the responsibilities and qualifications required for the position.
