Production Technician, 2nd Shift

The Production Technician, 2nd Shift is responsible for operating and maintaining solids processing and CO? extraction equipment to support the production of botanical-based products. This role ensures processes are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot and support production operations in a manufacturing environment.
We are hiring for 2nd shift, M - F, 3:00PM - 11:30PM with flexibility to work some Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor solids processing and CO? extraction equipment
Prepare and process raw materials to meet production specifications
Ensure production processes follow established procedures and schedules
Monitor and interact with automated equipment control systems during production operations
Perform routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor adjustments to maintain operational efficiency
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues
Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and cleaning prior to production runs
Monitor production processes to ensure consistent product quality
Collect samples and record data such as yield, temperature, and pressure
Support quality standards and product specifications in coordination with QC and Lab teams
Maintain accurate production logs, work orders, and operational data
Assist with monitoring and handling of raw materials and inventory
Support traceability and regulatory documentation requirements
Follow all safety protocols, including handling of CO? and other materials
Comply with cGMP and company standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Identify process improvements to increase efficiency, yield, and product quality
Support team efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce waste
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
12+ years of production or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience operating PLC-controlled or automated processing equipment preferred
Basic computer skills and ability to enter, review, and maintain production records electronically
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and measurement devices
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Experience with CO? extraction or similar processing equipment preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 57 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and reach regularly
Comfortable working around machinery and in varying conditions
Ability to wear required PPE and work in a manufacturing environment
