Job Description
As a UI/UX Analyst, you will be responsible for defining and delivering intuitive, user-centered design solutions by establishing the overall look and feel of applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into engaging and accessible user interfaces while ensuring usability, scalability, and compliance with design and accessibility standards. This role requires strong expertise in user research, interaction design, and usability testing to create seamless and effective user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements, functionality, and user expectations
Design user interfaces, workflows, and visual elements aligned with business and technical objectives
Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and improve designs
Develop user personas, journey maps, storyboards, and interaction models
Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for application interfaces
Facilitate design review sessions with stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final designs
Ensure adherence to accessibility standards, including ADA and usability best practices
Work closely with business analysts and technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment
Analyze user behaviors, pain points, and workflows to improve application usability
Lead design decisions related to layout, navigation, and overall experience
Provide guidance to development teams on UI/UX standards and accessibility requirements
Conduct accessibility and usability testing and implement improvements based on findings
Maintain documentation and design standards throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies
3‑5 years of experience in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design
3‑5 years of experience conducting user research and usability testing
Strong expertise in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
Knowledge of usability principles, interaction design, and visual design standards
Understanding of accessibility guidelines such as WCAG and ADA compliance
Ability to translate business requirements into effective design solutions
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in Agile environments
Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, or related field
Portfolio demonstrating design projects and practical experience
Experience working with established design systems and standards (preferred)
Experience conducting accessibility testing and remediation (preferred)
Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills (preferred)
The hourly range for roles of this nature is $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
