Aleknagik Technology, LLC is currently seeking a Sr/Lead Web Developer to support the Army Food Management Information System program at Fort Lee, VA.
Duties:
Capable of working independently or as a team leader role responsible for AFMIS Web design and development.
Will be required to collaborate effectively with all team members to attain successful outcomes.
Update the current online applications, as well as develop and implement a usability testing process to ensure that new website applications meet AFMIS requirements.
Work with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements, update existing applications to meet the security and functionality standards as outlined in the Rist Management Framework (RMF).
Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
Must have excellent communication skills and work effectively with customers across the organization.
Will demonstrate and adhere to software development best practices as they pertain to software development life cycle.
Will be required to analyze and interpret requirements to identify gaps and/or risks to delivery.
Qualifications:
BS degree. Advanced degree is desirable in Computer Science, Mathematics or other Engineering or Technical discipline.
At least 9 years of experience in the following: VB.NET, Java Script, ASP.NET, User Interface Development, XML, HTML, CSS, IIS7.
IAT level II certified
Experience in working within a variety of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
US Citizen, able to pass government background check
