Minister of Music
Full-Time | Reports to: Executive Pastor
Purpose
Lead the church in Christ-centered worship through music while equipping others to serve in worship, technical, and creative ministries.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, lead, and coordinate music for all worship services, special events, and seasonal services.
Lead and develop the choir and live instrumental teams.
Coordinate God-honoring music for weddings and funerals.
Oversee, operate, and train volunteers in sound, A/V, and lighting systems.
Recruit, train, and equip musicians and technical volunteers.
Collaborate with pastoral staff to ensure worship aligns with the church’s vision.
Qualifications
A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or higher desired.
Minimum of 5–7 years of music or worship ministry experience.
Strong musical ability, leadership skills, and theological discernment in worship.
