Student Assistant – Department Clerk – Music Pool
The purpose of this position is to provide clerical support to the Music Department.

Position Summary

Continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill Student Assistant assignments on an as‑needed basis.

Applicants remain in the pool for one year; they must reapply to stay.

The role may involve scheduling temporary assignments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to read music.

Attention to detail.

Willingness to follow directions.

Preferred Qualifications

Music major preferred.

Job Duties

Assist Music Office by running errands, making copies and other duties as assigned.

Set up chairs and stands for ensembles; must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
