We’re partnering with a fast-growing global entertainment-tech company building next-generation storytelling formats across Anime, Microdrama, and mobile-first premium content. The company operates at the intersection of content, community, and product, with a strong focus on digital-native audiences and short-form engagement.
They are looking to hire a senior leader to own both Content Strategy and Product Vision for their Anime and Microdrama verticals in the US market.
This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands fandom culture, serialized storytelling, mobile viewing behavior, and the evolving short-form entertainment ecosystem.
What You’ll Own
- Lead the overall content and product strategy for Anime and Microdrama experiences across platforms
- Build and scale content formats that drive engagement, retention, and audience growth
- Partner closely with creators, studios, writers, licensing partners, and product/design teams
- Develop programming, release, and monetization strategies tailored to Gen Z and digital-first audiences
- Use audience insights, viewing behavior, and performance metrics to shape content decisions
- Drive roadmap prioritization across discovery, recommendation, community, and viewing experience
- Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team spanning content, creative, product, and operations
What We’re Looking For
- 8–15 years of experience across digital entertainment, streaming, media-tech, gaming, anime, creator economy, or short-form platforms
- Strong understanding of Anime ecosystems, fandom communities, IP trends, and global content consumption patterns
- Experience building or scaling consumer entertainment products/content businesses
- Strong product thinking with the ability to blend storytelling, user engagement, and platform growth
- Familiarity with mobile-first viewing formats, short-form video, or episodic content ecosystems
- Experience working with creators, studios, production houses, or licensing partnerships is highly preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and execution capability
