About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP for Advanced Technology Commercialization to play a pivotal role in transitioning cutting-edge technology into market-ready products and commercial opportunities. This leadership position is at the forefront of the company's mission to advance and deliver transformative, mission-critical solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and shaping commercialization opportunities, fostering product development with engineering teams, and building a systematic commercialization pipeline. This role demands a professional with a proven track record in technology translation, commercialization, and product strategy, who can effectively bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business value. The VP will also be instrumental in driving go-to-market execution, influencing executive decisions, and forging strong relationships with external customers and partners.

Candidates for this role at the company should be adept at working with highly technical teams, possess deep technical fluency in areas such as AI, software, systems engineering, and advanced hardware, and have a strong understanding of the defense, space, and national security markets. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Clearance and is best suited for individuals with an MBA or advanced degree in a relevant technical or business discipline. Experience in aerospace, defense, or dual-use markets, as well as familiarity with government acquisition processes, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a background that includes experience in a high-growth technology company, defense prime, or a technology commercialization or venture role within a complex enterprise, and may hold an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
