About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Partnerships and Influence to play a pivotal role in expanding the organization's impact at a critical time for progressive economic policymaking. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and cultivating external engagement with a wide range of key stakeholders, including organizational partners, movement leaders, nonprofits, labor unions, and policymakers. This role requires the ability to translate the company's high-level strategy into targeted campaigns and outreach efforts, as well as to manage a team that is dedicated to building and maintaining strong partnerships. The SVP will also be involved in integrating the company's narrative polling work into outreach strategies, coordinating advocacy activities, and ensuring that all efforts are in alignment with the organization's policy and communications strategy.

Applicants for the Senior Vice President position should have a deep background in advocacy, political, or nonprofit partnership and influence roles, with a significant portion of their experience in senior or leadership positions. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned people manager with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and will have established relationships across the national progressive nonprofit, advocacy, and labor landscape. They should be comfortable operating at the executive level, be adept at influencing senior leaders, and have a strong ability to communicate both internally and externally. A commitment to a just, inclusive, and robust economy is essential, as is the ability to work with complex economic topics and to be a savvy strategist in anticipating and responding to the news and political cycles.
