Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

6 years of experience leading product‑level marketing in consumer technology, with a focus on hardware products and experience with software feature cycles.

Experience with product marketing, including user research, planning, crafting positioning/messaging, and developing creative assets across all modern marketing channels.

Experience managing cross‑functional teams or cross‑team projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in product marketing, consumer marketing, and insights in consumer hardware or other goods with fixed launch timelines.

Experience working with software teams including feature development and GTM strategies.

Understanding of the GTM process through product concept phase, to asset creation to launch, and post‑launch marketing support.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans that can then be worked on with product management to deliver relevant consumer products.

Exceptional skills working in an organization and experience successfully collaborating with cross‑functional teams across geographies.

Responsibilities
A Product Marketing Manager in Platforms and Devices plays a pivotal role in the complete marketing experience. From early‑stage analysis (competitive analysis, defining the target consumer, gaining insights, and understanding solutions they need), to product marketing strategy (positioning, product and feature definition, naming, feature prioritization) to launching the product (briefing brand and creative teams, managing creative reviews, developing consumer launch narratives, etc.), the PMM ensures the consumer is represented along the entire journey.

Key responsibilities include:

Leads product managers and other cross‑functional team members to develop product positioning, feature development, go‑to‑market strategy, sell‑in content, and sustaining marketing strategies.

Develops, manages, and owns relationships with cross‑functional teams—including marketers on channel marketing, creative teams, PR, sales, customer support—to ensure a comprehensive product narrative.

Advocates for the user across cross‑functional teams, ensuring all marketing strategies and tactics align with product positioning, consumer needs, and messaging strategy.

Serves as the product expert, accurately representing the product across all marketing and sales assets, with a comprehensive understanding of competition and market.

Gathers actionable customer insights through surveys, interviews, and usability testing to inform product and marketing strategies.
