Location

Territory Sales Manager. Location: Dallas, TX (Dallas Fort Worth Metro, West Texas). Territory sizes depend on the state managed. Travel up to 30% overnight.
Responsibilities

Manage agents within a designated area using in-person, virtual, phone, and email to build relationships, deliver training, and manage agency performance.
Act as subject matter expert on GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products, features, and tools; understand competitor offerings to increase GEICO product preference.
Translate national strategic initiatives into local goals to increase agent engagement, execution, and growth.
Deliver effective communications; assist agencies in developing local marketing plans and strategies to meet growth goals.
Use data analysis to prepare pre-call strategies focused on opportunities within the area or specific agencies.
Monitor agent performance against goals, procedures, and guidelines.
Conduct training of agency staff on GEICO products, services, and value proposition.
Counsel agents and, with leadership support, take disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Prospect, interview, and approve new appointments to expand GEICO’s agency distribution.
Adhere to the GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.
Maintain regular attendance at the business location to perform job functions and facilitate interaction with subordinates and management.
Qualifications

Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation (seeing, hearing, typing, speaking).
Ability to meet in person and virtually; follow complex instructions; resolve conflicts; strong organization and prioritization skills.
Ability to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.
Compliance with GEICO driving standards and/or policy; valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Preferred Experience

Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of sales or relevant insurance experience.
Prior experience with owning and driving sales results.
Prior experience working with different lines of insurance a plus (P&C, Commercial, Life & Health).
Compensation

Annual Salary: $104,550.00 – $161,950.00. This range is a general guideline; final offer depends on factors including role scope, experience, education, training, work location, and market considerations.
