Description

Researching, writing, editing, and proofreading technical data for use in routine documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications under supervision and following established procedures and formats

Ensuring documents meet editorial and government specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style
Assisting in establishing style guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations
Maintaining documentation in content or document management systems
Editing proposal and/or marketing documentation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Application of craft, vocational or administrative skills, and methods taught in specialized training and/or learned through formal apprenticeships
Intermediate level of proficiency to work on assignments of standard difficulty
