Job Responsibilities

Interpreting design information from structural, architectural drawings and job specification.

Spatial visualization of steel structures and summarizing project technical notes with hand sketches.

Raise RFIs (Request for information), queries to the steel fabricator.

Prepare parametric models in a 3D environment tool (Tekla Structures).

Create construction documents (Erection, fabrication, single part drawing, field bolt list etc.).

Create and ensure the accuracy of electronic files (NC1, DXF, KSS, XML, XSR, IFC etc.).

Ensure client standards & codes like AISC, AWS, OSHA.

Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Provide technical training & guidance to trainee engineers.

Minimum Requirements for Modelers

Bachelor in Civil engineering.

Minimum 3 years experience in 3D modelling and making drawings on Tekla Structures.

Good knowledge of English language writing and verbal skills.

Good knowledge of AISC codes & engineering drawing skills.
