Summary
This position is located at Videorama in Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
Work independently to clean and inspect video recording equipment.
Receive general supervision guidance regarding basic combat training (BCT) and operations in support of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) mission requirements.
Select, interpret, and apply guidelines; receive additional instructions from the supervisor regarding procedures, equipment, and technique.
Shoot footage of BCT and/or military operations events and assist in the duplication of BCT and graduation productions.
Collaborate closely with military organization leadership or designated personnel to ensure filming of BCT and/or military events is recorded in accordance with the organization's concept of operations.
Conduct product analyses to determine customer needs and ensure the quality of filming meets customer satisfaction.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
A one‑year probationary period may be required.
Successfully complete an employment verification (E‑Verify) check.

Position, duty hours, location, and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
Qualifications
Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher with a concentration of 24 semester hours in video production, digital media, media production, digital film, or a related field; OR three years of general work experience, of which one year must be equivalent to the next lower grade, and demonstrate knowledge and experience performing the tasks listed below.
Tasks: determine necessary camera and equipment for filming; transport, set up, and operate production equipment (cameras, audio/visual recorders, lighting, props, microphones) for location and studio production.
Physical requirements: stand, walk, stoop, lift, carry, and load equipment weighing up to 35 pounds; endure long periods of repetitive work in a sitting or standing position; maintain rapid pace for extended periods.
