Location: Dallas or San Francisco preferred, open to other major RSM markets. This role focuses on selling our consulting services within Business Applications, Data Analytics and related professional services solutions, with emphasis on Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Salesforce and related business applications.
Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the sales process including systematic prospect targeting, development of opportunity-specific sales strategy, and quarterbacking the entire sales process.
Build and maintain strong sales pipelines and forecasts for substantiated opportunities; prepare and facilitate presentations/proposals and close sales with customers.
Collaborate with firm industry and line of business leaders to co-lead growth through direct prospecting, networking, and participation in industry groups and networking associations.
Coordinate resources with Practice Leaders and Pre-Sales Solution Consultants to demonstrate core business application solutions.
Identify and target key companies within industry teams and support partners, principals, directors and senior managers in cross-selling additional services to existing clients where appropriate.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience selling business applications or related professional services solutions.
Experience working with a variety of industries; ability to coordinate a team of industry, functional, and technical experts to craft compelling solutions.
Experience with the middle market (revenues of $20 million to $1 billion) and driving a complex sales cycle from identification through close.
Ability to participate in proposal and Statement of Work creation; experience using a CRM tool for reporting and sales tracking; experience leveraging social media for networking.
Strong influence, negotiation skills, executive presence and business acumen; self-motivated with strong time management.
Travel is required (local and overnight when appropriate).
Preferred Qualifications Desire to work in a fast-charging sales team with large growth objectives; active network of C-level contacts.
Demonstrated community involvement and activity with industry associations, civic and/or non-profit groups.
Strong communication, presentation, analytical and organizational skills; experience with Big Four or other national firms is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits RSM offers a competitive benefits and compensation package. The role includes a competitive base salary plus an uncapped incentive compensation plan. Compensation range: $136,800 - $242,000. Individuals selected may be eligible for sales commissions and discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance.
