Responsibilities

Responsible for the setup and monitoring of events on the FSU Panama City Campus, including speakers, mixers, cabling, microphones, projectors, and various devices to support a wide variety of audio/visual needs.

Responsible for interacting with event coordinators and providing excellent customer service pertaining to the needs of the event.

The Events Tech position supports several rooms and event spaces on campus, and the setup will vary depending on the needs of the event.

The events technician will assist the scheduling coordinator in contacting customers prior to the event to answer audio/visual questions and provide information about the capabilities of the event spaces.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience relating to the setup and operation of audio/visual equipment.

Basic understanding of the principles of sound and audio.

Preferred Qualifications
Relevant audio/visual experience.
