Responsibilities
Reading scripts, screening films, and tracking creative materials for production and development consideration
Developing and maintaining relationships with agents, producers, filmmakers, writers, actors, and distributors
Evaluating all creative material and making recommendations to senior management team based on sellable concepts and IP
Tracking competitive projects across the industry
Generating cast, writer, director, and producer lists throughout the development process
Providing notes and feedback on project drafts, outlines, and cuts
Maintaining communication with filmmakers during all phases of the production process
Sourcing new material for development or production consideration
Qualifications and Skills
Candidate must have prior experience as a junior executive in development at a studio or production company.
Ability to generate creative ideas for projects
Must be diligent, punctual, proactive, strong in writing coverage and pitching material and extremely detail-oriented with maintaining script and other available material.
Self-starter who proactively seeks ways of developing his/her/their own skills, while taking direction, support and feedback from senior executives
Maintains the strictest levels of confidentiality and discretion around all activity, in particular in relation to ideas and concepts generated by the team
Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel

This position requires five (5) days per week in office.
Compensation
$80,000 - $90,000
