The Role
We're looking for a strategic and analytical Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our team with a dedicated focus on Activation and Lead Nurturing. This is a high-impact individual contributor role centered on the full conversion funnel: from nurturing top-of-funnel leads to driving trial sign-ups, and ultimately converting those trials into paid subscribers. You'll partner closely with senior lifecycle leaders and cross-functional teams to execute, test, and iterate on programs that move the needle on activation.
Responsibilities
Execute the Full Activation Strategy: Own campaign execution across the journey from initial lead capture (gated content, expired trials, winbacks) through trial sign-up and paid conversion.
Messaging Optimization: Lead the execution and optimization of recurring lead touchpoints, including newsletters and promotional offers.
AI & Automation Integration: Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to automate workflows, optimize send times, and personalize content at scale within our lifecycle tools.
Omnichannel Execution: Build and optimize personalized, event-triggered journeys across email, SMS, push, and in-product experiences to influence behavior and increase LTV.
Test & Learn: Maintain a rigorous A/B testing roadmap for messaging, cadence, and channel mix to constantly improve funnel efficiency.
Performance Reporting: Keep stakeholders informed on activation health with regular reporting on conversion metrics and the impact of lifecycle programs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Growth, Product, Creative, Operations, and Product Marketing to align on product milestones, brand voice, and technical data requirements.
Desired Skills & Experience
4-6 years in Lifecycle Marketing: Solid experience nurturing leads and managing customer journeys, specifically within a SaaS or subscription environment.
Activation Mindset: You have a working understanding of trial-to-paid conversion psychology and know how to use behavioral triggers to drive action.
AI Curiosity: Demonstrated interest or early experience using AI/ML to enhance lifecycle marketing
whether that's predictive modeling, automated copy testing, or propensity scoring.
Tech Stack Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Iterable and/or Braze (or equivalent) for orchestration, and familiarity with Appcues (or equivalent) for in-product onboarding.
Strategic & Tactical Balance: You can contribute to a 6-month activation roadmap and get in the tools to build and troubleshoot complex workflows.
Data-Driven: Analytical with the ability to pull insights from campaign performance and translate them into clear recommendations.
Strong Communicator: Comfortable driving alignment across Creative, Product, and Ops teams and communicating results to senior stakeholders.
