Job Description

As a Relationship Manager I – Business Banker within PNC’s Business Banking organization, you will be based in the Indianapolis Market. PNC Business Bankers provide cash flow solutions to businesses with annual sales from 2million to 10million. As a trusted advisor within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment you will leverage your business acumen to facilitate cash flow conversations with clients and prospects, and manage the ongoing sales cycle to optimize the cash flow of our business customers so they can achieve their goals. PNC’s targeted small business segments include Retail, Agricultural, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Wholesale and Women in Business.
Responsibilities

Handle relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients in a book of business to grow sales, revenue and market share with relevant sales goals.
Work with clients with basic levels of risk and complexity of needs, generally with a higher degree of supervision.
Acquire, expand and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet.
Originate, analyze, negotiate and document credit and non‑credit products and services.
Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients.
Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks.
Provide ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client’s needs and financial well‑being, focusing on increasing engagement and loyalty.
Build an effective network of internal and external relationships, such as community and industry, to acquire new clients and expand existing ones and enhance the client experience.
Present the full range of PNC’s products and services, bringing the entire bank to the client.
Use reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and convert sales opportunities.
