Responsibilities
Perform studio production tasks, including setting up and operating lighting, audio, camera, and teleprompter equipment, and directing talent on set.
Produce graphics, motion design elements, simulations, and multimedia assets for education products and services.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to establish project goals, create storyboards, and design and refine animations.
Use creativity and artistic techniques to tell a story or provide information in visual form.
Create voiceover when needed.
Manage and maintain studio space and equipment.
Work with internal IT to manage large media storage and backup.
Edit and assemble learning assets into a finished product ready for publishing.
Ensure adherence to video development guidelines, templates, style guides, and production quality across education products.
Manage project assets from capture/creation through archiving.
Work closely with management to align on project roadmap and deliverables.
Research industry trends and learn new applications.
Travel up to 25% domestically.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communication design, Multimedia Studies, Computer Animation, Fine Arts, Film, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Five (5) years of experience in the role of Video Editor, Creative Director, Television Producer, or related occupation.
Special Requirements
Experience with After Effects or similar software.
Proficiency with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Premiere Pro, Audition, and Photoshop).
Ability with color grading, chroma keying, and an excellent sense of pace and timing.
Experience editing education videos, training videos, or video tutorials.
Rate of Pay
$118,706/year
