About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Women's Design to provide the creative vision, strategic direction, and organizational leadership necessary to ensure a distinctive and commercially compelling expression of the brand across all women's product categories. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of seasonal creative vision, including product color, print, pattern, silhouette, and fabrication, while maintaining brand consistency. This role involves close collaboration with senior leaders in merchandising, product development, and marketing to translate consumer insights, market trends, and business performance into product strategies that drive growth and support profitability. The SVP will also be tasked with building and leading a high-performing design team, establishing clear creative standards, and fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
Candidates for this position should have a degree in fashion design, business, or a related field, with a preference for 15+ years of experience in women's apparel design, including leadership of large and complex design organizations. The role requires a leader with exceptional taste and aesthetic judgment, a strong understanding of garment fit and construction, and experience in translating consumer and cultural trends into successful product launches. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned traveler for trend research, a strong multi-tasker, and possess exceptional communication and presentation skills. They must be adept at managing departmental budgets, processes, and standards to maximize efficiency and achieve strategic business goals.
