Digital Designer
This is a remote position. Our client is looking for a Digital Designer to join their expanding creative team and support a growing volume of marketing and event-related projects. They operate within the commercial real estate media, marketing, and events industry and have broadened their reach in recent years through expanded conferences, digital content, awards programs, and creative services. This role is ideal for a versatile designer with professional experience across three essential areas: website and WordPress design, print production, and digital design. The selected candidate will create polished, brand-consistent materials for websites, email campaigns, events, social media, presentations, and print distribution. The position has evolved into a production-focused role supporting the internal events team. While strong creative judgment remains essential, much of the work will involve efficiently producing multiple assets from approved templates, such as award graphics, event materials, and campaign variations. The ideal candidate can work quickly, maintain accuracy across repetitive deliverables, and recognize when a design needs refinement. They should demonstrate excellent typography and layout skills, confidently manage multiple deadlines, take ownership of assignments, and ask thoughtful questions when additional direction is needed.
Responsibilities:
Design digital assets such as online advertisements, social media graphics, website banners, email visuals, promotional materials, and campaign content.
Create and update website graphics and landing-page content using WordPress.
Build and format marketing emails and related creative assets within HubSpot.
Produce print-ready materials, including flyers, brochures, programs, posters, signage, event graphics, and large-format pieces.
Develop professional PowerPoint presentations, pitch decks, sponsorship materials, and sales-support resources.
Produce high volumes of design variations using approved templates while maintaining consistency and accuracy.
Support the internal conferences and events team with awards graphics, speaker materials, event branding, signage, and promotional deliverables.
Maintain brand standards across digital, print, website, email, and event communication channels.
Prepare, organize, and export production-ready files using the correct specifications for digital and print distribution.
Collaborate with marketing, editorial, content, events, and leadership teams to execute campaigns and internal initiatives.
Manage several projects simultaneously and adjust quickly when priorities, deadlines, or production requirements change.
Review designs carefully for formatting, alignment, consistency, spelling, dimensions, and technical accuracy.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, digital design, marketing design, or a related creative position.
Demonstrated professional experience in all three of the following areas: Website design and WordPress Print design and production Digital marketing design
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Strong hands-on experience with Canva.
Practical experience updating and formatting website content in WordPress.
Experience building or formatting emails in HubSpot.
Portfolio showing polished digital, print, website, and layout-based design work.
Ability to produce a high volume of materials without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
Experience preparing files for professional printing and digital publication.
Ability to prioritize assignments and meet short production deadlines.
Reliable attention to detail and a consistent commitment to quality.
Qualifications:
Strong production-design capabilities, particularly within Adobe InDesign and Canva.
Proven experience creating event materials, awards graphics, signage, programs, and large-format designs.
Experience designing email campaigns and applying email-layout best practices.
Familiarity with basic HTML principles for email formatting is beneficial.
Previous experience in commercial real estate, media, publishing, events, marketing, or an agency environment is preferred.
Ability to follow established brand guidelines while identifying opportunities to improve a layout.
Portfolio that prioritizes graphic design, typography, and layout rather than illustration or character-based artwork.
Comfortable performing both independent production work and collaborative creative work.
