About the Role
Brand is one of the most important levers in Replit's go-to-market motion — not just for awareness, but as a direct driver of trust, differentiation, and long-term user loyalty in an increasingly crowded AI landscape. We're looking for the person who will own Replit's brand identity and marketing expression end to end.

You’ll lead our brand marketing strategy, reporting directly to the VP of Consumer and Brand Marketing. You’ll define how the world sees Replit — the story we tell, the emotions we evoke, and the cultural position we occupy — and translate that into campaigns, creative, and executions that make people feel something. You’ll have significant creative latitude and work in close collaboration with Marketing, Creative, Product Marketing, Social, and Influencer teams.

This is the right role if you’ve built and evolved a beloved brand before, you think in narratives and not just campaigns, and you’re excited by the challenge of making Replit a household name in the AI era.

What You’ll Do

Lead brand campaigns end to end: Conceive, build, and execute integrated brand campaigns (awareness, cultural moments, product narrative arcs) from brief to launch to measurement

Own the strategy and execution of 360 creative campaigns, ensuring strong briefs, clear processes and exceptional execution

Lead strategy, planning, including aligning on business objectives and priorities, defining the product and audience specific growth narrative for the year, developing a strategy to meet brand/business goals

Translate complex AI and product capabilities into clear, emotionally resonant stories that resonate with both technical and non‑technical consumer audiences

Work closely with creative, design, production, and copy to ensure all brand outputs are high‑craft and on‑strategy; you should have a strong enough creative eye to push the work

Identify the right cultural moments, communities, and collaborations that can expand Replit’s reach and relevance without feeling forced

Manage relationships with multiple agencies, internal creative, production, business affairs, and PR agencies to build break‑through, consumer‑centric work focused on driving short and medium term audience growth, product trial and overall user engagement

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of brand marketing experience at a high‑growth B2C or beloved consumer tech company, with a clear track record of building and evolving brands that people care about

Experience leading and developing best‑in‑class campaigns, with a proven ability to develop robust go‑to‑market plans and break‑through creative executions

AI‑native: actively using AI tools to scale your creative and strategic output; you’re not just aware of them, you’re using them daily

Impeccable creative judgment: you know great work when you see it, you know how to brief for it, and you’re not afraid to push back when it misses

Deep understanding of how brand connects to business outcomes; you can speak fluently about awareness funnels, brand health tracking, and the long game of building trust at scale

Strong narrative instincts: you can find the insight, build the arc, and land the message for any audience

Comfort operating in ambiguity and at speed; you don’t need committee consensus to make smart decisions

Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions; can stay calm under pressure

Additional Skills

Outstanding commercial understanding and strong data and analytical skills

Experience in data‑led decision making; ability to interpret extensive data and identify opportunities for growth and optimization

Excellent organizational skills to balance many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items and a desire to create and build new processes to enable organizational efficiency

Bonus Qualifications

Experience at consumer tech, B2C, or AI company

Background working with or managing external creative agencies

A point of view on what makes AI brands distinct — and what most of them get wrong

Active Replit user; you’ve built and shipped something with the product

Based in or able to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area

This is a full‑time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office. The role has an in‑office requirement of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
