Star Magic is a Los Angeles based mobile boutique and experiential wellness brand specializing in immersive tarot and astrology experiences for private events, brand activations, festivals, and pop-ups. We are launching an astrology podcast and are seeking a creative Video Editor Intern to help bring our content to life.

Responsibilities

Edit 10–15 podcast episodes from 30–45 minutes of raw 4K footage into polished 20-minute episodes

Create engaging cuts optimized for YouTube and digital platforms

Assist with basic organization of footage and project files

Incorporate feedback and revisions throughout the editing process

Help identify compelling moments that can be repurposed into short-form social media clips

Requirements

Current student or recent graduate in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

Access to your own editing equipment and software

Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Time Commitment

Approximately 5–10 hours per week
