Graphic Artist
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Graphic Artist to join our flexible packaging team. The role is critical in preparing and maintaining the digital assets needed to produce high-quality packaging graphics for flexographic printing.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to bring their packaging vision to life while constructively integrating feedback.

Present concepts and designs professionally, aligning visuals with client brand guidelines and expectations.

Translate customer concepts into accurate, print‑ready production art files for flexographic presses.

Design rough layouts, incorporating typography, imagery, and brand elements into cohesive packaging solutions.

Maintain a consistent workflow in graphics production, ensuring timely and precise output of files.

Work closely with internal teams—including prepress, sales, and production—to meet project timelines and specifications.

Support outside vendors or print service providers when needed, ensuring consistent quality and color management.

Stay current with design tools, software updates, and packaging industry standards.

Use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other prepress tools to prepare and finalize art for print.

Ensure designs meet all technical print and packaging requirements including dielines, bleeds, trapping, and resolution standards.

May advise clients on FDA labeling requirements or packaging compliance, with final content approval resting with the customer.

Monitor and ensure overall print quality, identifying and correcting potential design or production issues before press.

Qualifications

Proven experience in packaging design and flexographic printing processes.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop on PC platforms; experience in a prepress production environment is essential.

Strong knowledge of digital file management, color theory, and print production standards.

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.

Ability to troubleshoot file or printing issues and provide proactive solutions.

Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to support our team in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery and facility equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to ensure minimal production downtime.

Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.

Safely operate maintenance‑related equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and hand/power tools.

Inspect equipment and systems regularly to detect issues before they become critical.

Maintain and update work orders, part inventories, and maintenance logs in the CMMS.

Work on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), PLCs, motors, wiring configurations, and control circuits.

Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Provide timely and professional responses to internal maintenance requests.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of 3 years in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role.

Proficient with mechanical systems, pneumatics, power transmission, and electrical distribution.

Familiarity with VFDs, PLCs, motor wiring, control circuits, and troubleshooting.

Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.

Electro‑Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Allied Packaging is a 35+ year leader in the industrial packaging industry. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to work with our maintenance staff. The Technician is responsible for all maintenance functions, including safety, maximizing machine productivity and uptime, and the condition and upkeep of the facility.

Responsibilities

Adhere to preventive/predictive maintenance program for all mechanical equipment and tools; oversee, install, maintain, repair, adjust, troubleshoot, and inspect equipment and tools.

Identify systems and procedures designed to improve operations; make recommendations and implement new programs as needed.

Model all safety standards/processes.

Build positive relationships with operations and maintenance personnel to continuously improve operations.

Remain current and up‑to‑date on changing technical, reliability, and maintenance management improvements in the industry.

Perform general facility repairs and maintenance as needed.

Own or contribute to other functions, such as safety or environmental initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of experience in maintenance and repair with emphasis on machine design and facility construction/maintenance.

Field Service Technician
We are seeking an energetic, highly self‑motivated, and experienced Service Technician to help us expand our rapidly growing packaging business. The territory will be the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Responsibilities

Handle all installations for the Rapid Bander which in most cases are fairly simple and quick, but occasionally require metal fabrication – cutting and drilling.

Assist with system demonstrations at our demonstration facility and/or at customer sites.

Interface with Sales and other Technical Support Team Members to strategize and execute successful sales, demonstration, installation, and after‑sales support.

Fabricate customized apparatus components for unique system installations.

Work with designated stretch wrap system manufacturer to design semi‑and/or fully automated pallet wrapping lines that can include conveyors and other essential and adjunct processing line components.

Install or assist with installation of Tape Machines.

Required Background

5+ years of hands‑on technical/maintenance role experience.

Hands‑on experience with stretch wrap systems including equipment demos, installation, and service.

Good metal working and fabrication skills – cutting, drilling, and fabricating.

Strong experience in equipment installation and after‑sales service.

Good understanding and experience with basic electronics, including PLCs and hydraulics.

Experience with basic equipment programming.

Comfortable with basic Microsoft Office software and email.

Strong verbal communication skills.

Experience in training customers on new equipment and employees or co‑workers in new jobs.

Driven and dedicated with a willingness to work hard and occasional long hours as needed.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to set and prioritize goals and tasks, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.

Able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.

Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; good driving record.

Willingness to travel 1–2 times per month, possibly for 1–2 nights, occasionally on weekends.

We are looking to fill positions in the production department, including narrow and wide web press operators, converting equipment operators, laminating operators, supervisors, warehouse, and maintenance technicians. Both experienced and entry‑level positions are available.
