Marketing Associate

The Marketing Associate works in conjunction with the ADO Marketing Manager to grow independent eye care practices in a defined territory. The Marketing Associate's job involves managing a wide range of marketing processes and projects. This position is responsible for facilitating the creation of marketing collateral, promoting and executing marketing plans, developing brand cohesion for the practices you work with and increasing revenue in all business channels. Responsibilities will include tracking and reporting results of all marketing initiatives and recommending improvements as necessary to increase the overall success of marketing efforts.
BA or BS Degree in Marketing and a minimum of three years of related marketing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent organization and project/campaign management skills. Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills ensuring all stakeholders are on the same page with respect to project status, deliverables & timelines. Experience defining and managing project scope and deliverables while using both onsite and offsite resources. This position also requires creativity, flexibility, time management skills and strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in utilizing CRM systems, data analysis and Microsoft Office applications. Experience in Adobe design programs preferred (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator). Occasional travel (25%) to industry events and ADO events. Occasional weekend travel required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable driving record that complies with the Walman Optical Company Motor Vehicle Policy.
Major areas of accountability include overseeing full scope of assigned member accounts, assisting in the development of yearly strategic marketing plans, measuring, tracking and reporting results, optimizing member lead generation and lead nurturing process, managing relationships and coordinating marketing activities, ensuring all program elements are in alignment with client strategy and brand guidelines, taking ownership of project execution and performance, partnering with team members across organization to produce campaigns on time and on budget, working with ADO Marketing Manager to develop detailed marketing plans, schedules and track costs & billing, becoming a trusted resource for clients as well as for internal teams, actively participating in and/or conducting member calls to implement marketing initiatives, obtaining and analyzing the response data for all marketing efforts, developing and formulating marketing materials and strategies, developing public relations, community outreach efforts for member practices on a market specific basis, closely collaborating with creative teams to produce new marketing materials and/or adapt and customize existing marketing collateral, coordinating new website development and/or modification with Web & Media team, effectively communicating through proofing process as intermediary between vendor and customer, creating, proof, editing and/or re-purposing content for use across a variety of media, utilizing CRM and data warehouse tools to accurately and completely create and monitor performance metrics, modeling a professional and ethical behavior, maintaining a professional appearance, maintaining work area in a neat, clean, and organized condition, understanding and following all company and manufacturer's policies and procedures and assuring compliance of all attendance & safety rules and regulations, maintaining confidentiality of all proprietary and HIPAA protected information, willingly assisting others as necessary to keep work current, meet deadlines or maintain even work load, cooperating with other coworkers and demonstrating a good attitude, providing proper training, work direction, and technical guidance for less experienced employees, attending in-house or Walman sponsored training meetings when necessary, and performing other duties as assigned.
