Job Description
Responsible for marketing and communications branding strategies and asset development in support of the Health & Well-Being (University Health Services, Counseling Center, Dean of Students Office) portfolio within the Division of Student Success of Texas State University.

Job Duties
Social Media Planning & Development

Develop, coordinate, and evaluate engaging content for social media platforms to enhance engagement across departments housed within health and well-being.

Manage the health and well-being unit’s social media channels, collaborating on a comprehensive strategy and campaigns with university communicators and other key stakeholders.

Create, edit, and schedule social media content, ensuring alignment with divisional and university initiatives.

Maintain and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring that content supports key initiatives within the Division of Student Success.

Content Creation

Conceptualize and design graphics that adhere to Texas State University brand guidelines.

Produce visual assets including photo and video for departments housed within health and well-being.

Develop digital and print assets including digital signs, flyers, brochures, presentations and other marketing materials to support health and well-being initiatives.

Manage a shared content library, including photo, video, social media and sign templates.

Oversee multiple marketing projects with varying timelines, utilizing appropriate resources for successful completion.

Web Content Management

Maintain up-to-date information and serve as the primary editor to departmental websites across health and well-being.

Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and Texas State University branding across web content.

Write and update website content to effectively communicate with students, faculty, staff, and the broader Texas State community.

Supervision

Recruit, hire, train, and supervise student staff to support health and well-being initiatives.

Hire, train, schedule, and direct supervisees through continuous feedback and task assignments to ensure expectations are met.

Other Duties

Represent the health and well-being team as a member of the Division of Student Success Communications team.

Serve on university and divisional committees, groups, and task-forces as assigned.

Serve as a liaison for health and well-being to the Director for Marketing and Communications within the Division of Student Success.

Support Divisional Marketing and Communications objectives including updating unit operational calendars, providing high-impact marketing strategies in alignment with larger communications goals, and supporting other divisional initiatives as needed.
