Role Description

The Social Media Marketing Intern is a part‑time, remote role for students or recent geaduates in the United States. This intern will assist with planning, creating, and scheduling content for social media platforms, including writing captions, selecting visuals, and ensuring brand consistency. Day‑to‑day tasks include monitoring social channels, engaging with followers, responding to comments or messages, and supporting campaigns that raise awareness of postpartum care services. The intern will help track basic performance metrics, conduct research on social media trends and competitor activity, and collaborate with team members to brainstorm new content ideas. This role offers hands‑on experience in digital marketing within a mission‑driven healthcare environment.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing to support online visibility and outreach.
Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing to develop engaging and brand‑aligned posts.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for clear writing, audience engagement, and collaboration with the internal team.
Interest in maternal health, postpartum support, or healthcare services is beneficial.
Ability to work on‑site full time in North East, MD and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and basic understanding of analytics tools is a plus.
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
