A day in the life

Offer confident, honest feedback: Help customers choose pieces that complement their style and add value to their wardrobe.
Create connections everywhere: Use in-store interactions and digital tools (text, social media, Nordstrom apps) to inspire customers, share curated looks, and keep them engaged.
Drive results: Grow predictable sales through outreach and appointment-setting during event and non-event periods.
Be a trusted partner: Follow up after purchases, share new arrivals, invite customers to events, and introduce them to the Nordy Club.
Keep the experience seamless: Work with others to maintain a clean, organized space that makes every customer feel welcome.
Stay adaptable: Sell throughout all departments, gaining exposure to new styles and customers.
Skills & Qualifications

Styling and wardrobe knowledge: Understand customer’s overall wardrobe and style, organized follow‑up, and advice on pieces to complete their look.

Physical Requirements

Must perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting items above the head. Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Pay Range

Hourly: $17.30 – $17.30. Commission varies by category: apparel, shoes, and accessories 3% to 14.5%; beauty and men’s fragrance 3%. Performance‑based incentives or bonuses may be available.
