Associate - Commercial Transactions Copyright/Technology

Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified associate with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join the transactional side of their Copyright practice in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on advising leading technology, digital media, and content‑driven companies on complex commercial transactions.
Duties Advise clients on licensing, data and content acquisition, and strategic partnership agreements.
Draft and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements.
Focus on principal‑side deal work in the music, entertainment, and content space.
Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
Substantial experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
Experience in technology transactions, IP licensing, or similar practice preferred.
Prior experience in entertainment, music, or media is a plus.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
