About the Job

Job Duties:

Assistance in studio and professional activities:
Building stretchers, panels, and crates for paintings
Priming canvases
Photoshop/ Projector/ source image/ drawing preparation
Tracing using a projector
Color palette mixing assistance
Packaging work for shipment
Organizing painting and supply storage
Help lifting crates, loading to and from truck

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical proficiencies in drawing, painting, and digital software like Photoshop or Procreate
Ability to lift 50 pounds and move wooden crates up to 200 pounds with a team of two to three people

Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Art
Completed a professional practices art course

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range:

$20-$21/hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
