About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Total Rewards to provide strategic leadership and executive oversight of enterprise-wide total rewards and occupational health. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the vision, priorities, and governance frameworks to ensure that programs are market-competitive, equitable, compliant, and financially sustainable. This role involves establishing and articulating the total rewards strategy, monitoring external market trends, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and long-term workforce planning. The Vice President will also oversee benefits, compensation, retirement, and occupational health, and will be a key partner with finance, legal, and executive leadership to evaluate and implement benefit and compensation strategies.

Applicants for the Vice President of Total Rewards position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and senior HR or total rewards certifications. A minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in total rewards, particularly within a complex, multi-entity organization, is required, with a strong preference for those with healthcare experience. The role demands a deep understanding of employment and benefits-related regulatory requirements, experience in supporting Board-level committees, and a proven track record in overseeing benefits, compensation, and retirement programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare labor markets and unionized environments, and will be adept at leading and developing high-performing teams.
