Audio Technician - Hospital Public Address Systems

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair public address (PA) and communication systems in hospital and healthcare environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently and supporting critical systems where reliability matters.
Responsibilities

Install, service and maintain hospital public address (PA) and related communication systems

Diagnosing and repair system issues including amplifiers, speakers, paging controllers, cabling and telecommunication bridge components in between the PA system and the Telecom department.

Perform preventive maintenance and system testing to ensure compliance and uptime

Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and system documentation

Work on-site in active hospital environments while following safety and infection-control protocols

Document service calls, repairs and installations accurately

Communicate professionally with hospital staff, project managers and internal teams

Experience in field service, audio installations, telecom or similar technical role

Strong troubleshooting skills with audio, paging, and/or communication systems

Familiarity with nurse call systems and manufacturers such as Rauland, AtlasIED, Valcom, Bogen, etc.

Mechanical skills that apply to other projects/repairs that we perform for our clients

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally or regionally

Ability to pass background checks required for hospital access
