Job Description
CNBC is looking for an experienced financial media editor to edit the work of CNBC investing contributors. The editor will take rough copy and transform it into well‑written pieces with appropriate context and exhibit. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about investing trends and stock market movements, has extensive editing experience, excels at speed and quality, and possesses strong communication and organization skills to manage a section of the website and ensure fresh content is published daily.

Qualifications

5+ years of financial editing at another major publication.

Experience working in a fast‑paced digital newsroom.

A passion for investing and uncovering new trends on Wall Street.

Strong journalistic writing and research skills.

The ability to work effectively in a high‑intensity environment collaborating with others, often under tight deadline pressures.
