ROLE OVERVIEW
The Social Media Assistant will be assigned to either the Content Creation or Influencer team within the Social Media group, based on your skills and career aspirations. You will join a group of professionals to bring the best that Fashion Nova has to offer to our customers and Social Influencers, and to millions of followers across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms.

The Social Media Specialist will support the day to day execution of Fashion Nova’s social channels across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, X, and emerging platforms. This is an entry level role ideal for someone who is deeply online, trend aware, creatively driven, and excited to grow within a fast paced social team.

You’ll work closely with the Social Media team to help bring Fashion Nova’s campaigns, launches, influencer moments, and brand storytelling to life across millions of followers worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the day to day management of Fashion Nova’s social media channels across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, X, and emerging platforms

Source, organize, schedule, and publish content across social platforms to support daily posting needs

Work closely with internal creative, marketing, influencer, and social teams to execute content and campaign rollouts

Assist with caption writing, product tagging, and maintaining accurate product details across posts

Monitor trends, viral formats, sounds, and platform updates, and proactively share relevant opportunities with the team

Coordinate scheduling updates and content management through social media scheduling tools like Canva, Dash Hudson, and Later

Support social campaign execution, including collab posts, video premieres, and launch moments

Upload and organize weekly influencer generated content assets for paid media and cross functional teams

Help track social performance and identify content trends, engagement patterns, and opportunities for optimization

Stay highly organized in a fast paced environment while managing multiple social priorities and deadlines

Collaborate cross functionally to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all social channels

Contribute creative ideas for content, community engagement, and social first storytelling

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of experience in social media, content, community management, or a related digital marketing role

Deep interest in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and internet culture, with a strong understanding of what performs across social platforms

Strong written communication skills with the ability to write social first captions and adapt tone across platforms

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

Naturally creative with an eye for trends, aesthetics, and culturally relevant content

Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, X, and emerging social platforms

Comfortable working within scheduling and social management tools such as Dash Hudson, Later, Canva, or similar platforms

Strong understanding of social media trends, viral formats, sounds, memes, and platform best practices

Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within a high volume social team

BA/BSc degree or equivalent work experience

English, additional language(s) an advantage

Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite
