Job Description
Position: Choral/Show Choir (P939)

Evaluated by: Principal/Assistant Principal

Salary Range: Based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule, plus a competitive benefits package including PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.

Description: The High School Choral/Show Choir Teacher is assigned to deliver a comprehensive vocal music program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for music at the grade levels applicable to this assignment (9-12).

Agrees to extra‑duty assignment as show choir director.

Qualifies or agrees to qualify as a “Highly Qualified Teacher”.

Length of Employment
200 Days
