The Basics of a Junior Graphic Designer
Status:
Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid – 4 days onsite after onboarding and training.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Flexibility may be required to support special projects, marketing campaigns, and community events.
What you'll do as a Junior Graphic Designer
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you'll help bring the Greater Texas and Aggieland Credit Union brands to life through creative, visually engaging marketing materials. You'll work alongside an experienced marketing team to develop compelling graphics across digital, print, branch, and community channels while ensuring every piece reflects our brand standards and delivers an exceptional member experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
Design and produce engaging marketing materials for digital, print, branch, and community channels, including social media graphics, web assets, signage, flyers, banners, email campaigns, and branch displays.
Adapt creative assets for multiple platforms while ensuring consistency with Greater Texas and Aggieland Credit Union brand standards.
Support marketing campaigns by creating, organizing, and distributing approved creative assets for internal teams, community initiatives, and external partners.
Assist with website updates, promotional materials, community events, and basic video or experiential design projects.
Review creative work for quality, accuracy, and production readiness before publication or distribution.
Organize and maintain creative files, campaign assets, and marketing resources.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to meet project deadlines, contribute creative ideas, and continuously improve design quality.
Participate in the Greater Good volunteer initiative and support community engagement efforts.
Complete required compliance, BSA, and professional development training and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must Haves as a Junior Graphic Designer
Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
Strong visual design, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Ability to follow brand standards and manage multiple projects
Strong communication skills and willingness to receive feedback
Experience
0–2 years of graphic design experience
Portfolio required (internship, freelance, academic, or professional work accepted)
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Haves as a Junior Graphic Designer
Skills
Experience with video editing, motion graphics, or digital content management tools
Education
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field
Experience
Experience creating marketing assets for multiple digital and print channels
