Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globally. The Regional Sales Director will structure, implement and oversee all field sales efforts to maximize company’s gross margin plus contribution. Geography includes OR, WA, ID, Western MT and No. CA.
Responsibilities

Develop and lead regional field sales force.
Set goals and objectives for regional support roles.
Work with Territory Managers (TM’s) to identify sales needs and maintain a current perspective on the market environment and competitive activity.
Work with key customers and buying groups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify future opportunities.
Establish and implement a systematic process for gathering, tracking, and disseminating competitive activity from the field.
Handle day‑to‑day customer complaints and service issues.
Develop yearly and monthly sales budgets, monitor performance of field sales team, and react to all risks and opportunities.
Measure and monitor results against assigned key vendor budgets to ensure move‑out objectives are fulfilled.
Work closely with other leaders to create a team environment and establish/implement overall sales and marketing programs and priorities.
Identify field sales training needs and coordinate training efforts with the Learning and Development team.
Work with Territory Managers on presenting strategic solutions, promoting house brands and executing on category management/vendor consolidation strategy.
Experience and Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, pharmacy, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Master’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
10+ years of experience in field sales, territory management, or a related field required.
5+ years of experience in a management capacity required.
Excellent presentation skills and proven ability to sell are necessary.
A valid driver license and good driving record are mandatory.

Salary

Full‑time Salary Range: $110,500 – $220,990 (national average; actual range may vary by location).
