SEO Content Writer
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop SEO content that is purposeful, informative, and high-quality, including blogging and other content as needed

Collaborate with stakeholder’s company-wide to understand and align content to specific business goals

Support and influence team goals including website traffic, performance, and engagement goals

Participate in collaborative discussions and contribute ideas to influence the SEO strategy

Utilize available analytics tools to assess content performance and identify new opportunities

Acquire and incorporate SEO strategies throughout written content

Evaluate competitors to compare performance and identify additional opportunities

Responsible for supporting marketing and training content and copywriting

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High school Diploma or GED required

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or related field preferred

1-3 years of relevant experience in SEO preferred

Experience working with SEO tools such as SEMrush, WordPress, Yoast, Google Analytics

Ability to write in multiple styles: marketing, branding, formal, and journalistic

Excellent copywriting and editing skills; strong verbal communicator and presenter

Capability to produce short-form and long-form content across a variety of channels

Ability to think creatively and work effectively to quickly changing priorities and processes

Self-directed and collaborative -- ability to work autonomously and as part of a team as needed

Ability to write 4K to 5K researched words each week

Previous experience working in supply chain or transportation industry a plus

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; Spanish is a plus
